About Burgowan
Burgowan is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, located approximately 26 kilometres south-west of Hervey Bay and 29 kilometres north-north-west of Maryborough. The locality is traversed by the North Coast railway line which enters from the south-east and exits to the west towards Torbanlea. The area includes the Burgowan Wastewater Treatment Plant which opened in 2006.
