About Brooloo

Brooloo is a small rural town in the Mary Valley hinterland in the Gympie Region, about five kilometres south-east of Imbil and 41 kilometres south of Gympie. Originally settled for timber-getting and dairy farming, the heritage-listed Brooloo Hall from 1915 still stands and the now-closed Mary Valley railway line once served the town. The area is popular for camping and eco-tourism, with nearby Lake Borumba.
