About Booubyjan
Booubyjan is a rural locality in the Gympie Region, located along the Burnett Highway about 90 kilometres north-west of Gympie and 14 kilometres north of Tansey. It is home to the heritage-listed Booubyjan Homestead, a complex of 1860s to 1870s drop-slab and vertical-slab timber buildings operated as a museum of early colonial construction.
