About Boolboonda

Boolboonda is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region, Queensland, about 82 kilometres south-west of Bundaberg. The area is known for the Boolboonda Tunnel, the longest unsupported railway tunnel in Queensland, built for the Bundaberg-Mount Perry line. A heritage-listed former state school dates from 1897.
