About Trebonne
Trebonne is a rural town in the Shire of Hinchinbrook, Queensland, 9 kilometres north-west of Ingham in the Herbert River valley. Named after Trebonne Creek by a sugar planter in the 1870s, it is a quiet farming community dominated by sugar cane cultivation, with a long history of Italian-Australian settlement in the district.
