About Wharps
Wharps is a rural locality in the Shire of Hinchinbrook in North Queensland, about 13 km south-south-west of Ingham. It lies in the broad coastal lowlands of the Herbert River valley, an area of extensive sugarcane farming, and most of the locality is managed for natural resources with some grazing on native vegetation and cropping.
