About Gairloch
Gairloch is a rural locality in the Shire of Hinchinbrook, North Queensland, about 20 kilometres southwest of Ingham. Settled in the 1870s for sugar cane and pastoral farming, the area is characterised by open woodland and grazing land south of the Herbert River floodplain.
