About Rollingstone
Rollingstone is a coastal rural town in the City of Townsville, roughly 54 kilometres north of Townsville CBD along the Bruce Highway. Settled in 1883 and renamed from Armidale to avoid confusion with the New South Wales town when the railway arrived in 1915, it sits beside Rollingstone Creek near Balgal Beach and the Coral Sea.
