About Horseshoe Bay
Horseshoe Bay is a bay, town and suburb on Magnetic Island in the City of Townsville, Queensland. The island's longest beach, protected by granite headlands, fronts a town that is a major tourist accommodation and recreation centre, with cafes, water-sports hire and a wildlife park, and the historic WWII fortifications above the bay are reached by the popular Forts Walk.
