About Breddan
Breddan is a rural locality in the Charters Towers Region, about 137 kilometres south-west of Townsville. The surrounding district was shaped by the 1870s gold rush that made Charters Towers one of Queensland's largest cities. Breddan sits on the Stuart Highway between Townsville and Charters Towers, surrounded by open eucalypt woodland and cattle stations.
