About Mount Rascal
Mount Rascal is a rural locality about 12 kilometres south-south-west of Toowoomba on the Darling Downs. The locality is named after its 734-metre mountain peak, and early colonial history records Aboriginal resistance at the mountain, including the 1841 spearing of stockman John Hill. The area has a mix of rural residential and grazing land on elevated terrain.
