About Helidon Spa
Helidon Spa is a small rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region of south-east Queensland, situated on the western foothills of the Great Dividing Range approximately 100 kilometres west of Brisbane. The area is known for its natural mineral springs, which were commercially exploited in the late nineteenth century, and the surrounding landscape features grazing land, dairy farms and remnant bushland on the rolling hills at the edge of the Lockyer Valley. Helidon Spa lies within the broader Helidon district, with the Warrego Highway providing a transport link to Toowoomba and Brisbane.
