About Golden Beach (Qld)
Golden Beach is a coastal suburb of Caloundra in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, directly south-west of the Caloundra CBD. The Pumicestone Passage forms its eastern boundary, and the long sandspit at the northern tip of Bribie Island protects the suburb from the Coral Sea. Development of the suburb began in the 1950s.
