Cooloolabin is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, approximately 4.7 kilometres west of Yandina and 123 kilometres north of Brisbane. The area is predominantly mountainous and forested, incorporating parts of Mapleton National Park and containing both Cooloolabin Dam and Wappa Dam within its boundaries.
