About Castaways Beach
Castaways Beach is a coastal suburb in the Shire of Noosa, Queensland, about 5 km south-east of Noosa Heads, bounded by the Coral Sea to the east and Lake Weyba to the west. Apart from a strip of housing along the coast, most of the suburb lies within Noosa National Park. The name comes from the Castaway Motel, the first development on this section of coast.
