About Warburton (Qld)
Warburton is a remote outback locality in the Shire of Boulia in western Queensland, about 163 km south-west of the town of Boulia and 258 km west of Winton. It is vast, sparsely settled pastoral country in the channel country of the Lake Eyre Basin, crossed by the wide, braided channels of the Hamilton River.
