About Torrens Creek
Torrens Creek is a rural town and locality in the Shire of Flinders, Queensland, situated on the Flinders Highway approximately 89 kilometres east of Hughenden. The creek was discovered by William Landsborough in 1862 and named after Sir Robert Torrens, Premier of South Australia.
