About Taldora

Taldora is a remote outback locality in the Shire of McKinlay in north-west Queensland, centred around the historic Taldora Station cattle property which dates back to at least 1866. The landscape consists of open plains, seasonal creeks and vast skies across Gulf Country grazing land, with the Wills Developmental Road providing the main access. The nearest town with essential services is Julia Creek, roughly 100 kilometres to the south-east.
