Rocky Point is a residential locality within the Weipa Town on the western coast of Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, located 2,497 kilometres north-northwest of Brisbane and 649 kilometres north-northeast of Cooktown. The name reflects the rocky coastal geography of the area along Albatross Bay and the Mission River. The locality is home to Western Cape College's Weipa Campus, a government P-12 school with boarding facilities, and the Hibberd Library operated by the Weipa Town Authority. St Joseph's Catholic Church on Boundary Road serves the Weipa Parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cairns.
