About Porcupine

Porcupine is a vast outback locality in the Shire of Flinders, Queensland. Porcupine Gorge National Park, featuring towering coloured sandstone cliffs and permanent waterholes along Porcupine Creek, lies within the locality. The area is used primarily for cattle and sheep grazing on large pastoral properties, and is located about 108 kilometres north-east of Hughenden.
