About Holroyd River
Holroyd River is a vast outback locality in the Shire of Cook on the western side of Cape York Peninsula in far north Queensland, named after the river that flows through it into the Gulf of Carpentaria. It is remote savanna woodland and wetland country with no permanent residents.
