About Fielding
Fielding is a rural locality in the Shire of Carpentaria in the Gulf Country of north-west Queensland. The Norman River flows through the locality from the south-east towards the Gulf of Carpentaria, and the land is used largely for grazing on native vegetation, with Normanton and Croydon the nearest towns.
