About Whiteside
Whiteside is a suburb in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, located about 9 kilometres north-west of Caboolture on the north-east shore of Lake Samsonvale. Named after the Whiteside sheep and cattle station established by Captain Frank Griffin in 1843, the suburb features undulating bushland and rural-residential properties. Old Petrie Town, a restored historic village with pioneer-era buildings and weekly Sunday markets, is a notable heritage attraction, and a koala nature refuge is maintained along Whiteside Road.
