About Mount Glorious
Mount Glorious is a mountain village on the D'Aguilar Range, about 41 kilometres north-west of Brisbane within D'Aguilar National Park. Surrounded by subtropical forest with peaks including Mount D'Aguilar at 742 metres, the village is known for forest walks and mountain scenery. Named after a remark about the view at a 1915 picnic, it sits on the rural fringe of Brisbane.
