About The Percy Group
The Percy Group is an offshore island group in the Coral Sea, about 120 km south-east of Mackay, made up of Middle, South and North East Percy islands plus nine smaller isles. Named by Matthew Flinders in 1802, they are known to cruising sailors for their sheltered anchorages and sandy beaches and lie within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area. Much of the group is national park, with a long-established homestead on Middle Percy.
