About Eimeo

Eimeo is a coastal suburb on a scenic headland overlooking the Coral Sea, approximately 14 kilometres north of the Mackay CBD. The headland extends into the sea with sandy beaches on both flanks, and the suburb is home to the iconic Eimeo Hotel, a clifftop pub with panoramic ocean views. Mango Avenue, lined with heritage-listed trees planted by pioneer Jeremiah Armitage in the 1880s, leads to the beach. Eimeo Beach is sheltered and patrolled by lifeguards in summer, making it a popular family destination.
