About Springwood (Qld)
Springwood is a residential suburb and commercial hub in the City of Logan, Queensland, about 22 km southeast of Brisbane along the Pacific Motorway. Originally scrubland with a natural spring, the suburb was gazetted in 1972 and features the 36-hectare Springwood Conservation Park, known for its rock formations, gorge, eucalypt forest and native wildlife including koalas. It is also home to the Logan Hyperdome shopping centre and a major busway station.
