About Forestdale
Forestdale is a residential suburb in the City of Logan, Queensland, located 13 kilometres west of Logan Central and 30 kilometres south of Brisbane CBD. The name combines the English words forest and dale, with the suffix referencing Robin Hood, and many streets are named after Robin Hood characters. Once part of Browns Plains, Forestdale became a separate suburb in 1987. The Greenwood Lakes wetland with high conservation values provides bushwalking, bird watching and picnic facilities.
