About Templin
Templin is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region, about 5 kilometres north-west of Boonah in the Fassifern Valley. Settled by German immigrants in the nineteenth century, the area retains strong heritage connections. The Templin Historical Village, established on the grounds of the 1892 Templin State School, features 14 heritage buildings and one of Queensland's largest textile collections.
