About Mount Tarampa
Mount Tarampa is a small rural locality in the Somerset Region of south-east Queensland, situated on the western foothills of the D'Aguilar Range approximately 80 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. The area is characterised by grazing land, dairy farms and remnant bushland on the rolling hills at the edge of the Brisbane Valley. Mount Tarampa sits within a landscape of cleared pastoral land, eucalypt woodland and scattered rural properties, with the nearby town of Lowood providing services to the district.
