About Morwincha

Morwincha is a small rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, located about 80 kilometres southwest of Brisbane and 13 kilometres west of Boonah in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. The landscape features rolling farmland and bushland with Reynolds Creek flowing through, surrounded by World Heritage-listed national parks and proximity to Cunninghams Gap. Named after the Morwincha railway station on the Mount Edwards branch line which operated from 1916 to 1960, the area supports beef cattle grazing, dairy operations, and crop cultivation in the broader Fassifern Valley agricultural district.
