About Kents Lagoon
Kents Lagoon is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of South East Queensland, nestled in the fertile Fassifern Valley at the foot of the Moogerah Peaks. Named by explorer Ludwig Leichhardt after F. Kent, a former owner of Fassifern station, the area was historically used for irrigated farming following a 1906 land auction. It sits about 15 kilometres south of Boonah and is characterised by quiet farmland and rolling green hills.
