About Glamorgan Vale
Glamorgan Vale is a rural town and locality in the Somerset Region in the Lockyer Valley, about 57 kilometres west of Brisbane. Black Snake Creek, a tributary of the Brisbane River, borders the township, and a heritage Wesleyan Methodist church built in 1871 and a state school operating since 1875 are local landmarks. The original Glamorgan Hotel has been redeveloped as the Bottletree Hotel.
