About Cannon Creek (Scenic Rim - Qld)
Cannon Creek is a small rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, situated approximately 13 kilometres south of Boonah in hilly country used primarily for cattle grazing. The area was settled in the early twentieth century, with a local Anglican church dedicated in 1911 and later relocated to the Templin Historical Village in 1976. Cannon Creek lies within the broader Scenic Rim area, known for its mountain ranges forming part of the Great Dividing Range.
