About Dugandan
Dugandan is a rural town and locality in the Scenic Rim Region of Queensland, situated approximately 91 kilometres south-west of Brisbane and five kilometres south of Boonah. The name derives from a Ugarapul word meaning mountain spur place, originally applied to a large pastoral run established in 1844. The Dugandan Hotel is a local landmark, and the surrounding landscape features rolling hills, volcanic mountains and productive farmland within the broader Scenic Rim area.
