About Willow Vale (Qld)
Willow Vale is a rural locality in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, located in the Gold Coast hinterland 54.7 kilometres south-southeast of Brisbane and 4 kilometres west-northwest of Upper Coomera. Part of the traditional lands of the Yugambeh people, the suburb has a semi-rural character with the Pimpama River traversing it through low-lying floodplains and estuarine zones. The heritage-listed Laurel Hill Farmhouse at 105 Ruffles Road is a notable landmark. Predominantly separate houses on large residential properties with bushland pockets, the suburb includes numerous parks and reserves including The Grange Environmental Park and Rufous Whistler Park. The suburb is served by Coomera railway station approximately 6 kilometres away.
