About Hollywell

Hollywell is a coastal suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, located nine kilometres north of Southport and 68 kilometres south-east of Brisbane. Named after the home in England of Joseph Wood Proud, who served as Mayor of Southport from 1934 to 1948, the suburb extends into the Gold Coast Broadwater. The south-western quarter is the Pine Ridge Conservation Park, and the Runaway Bay Marina is located in the south-east corner. Two boat ramps on Centenary Drive provide access to the Broadwater.
