About Yelarbon
Yelarbon is a rural town and locality in the Goondiwindi Region of Queensland, on the border with New South Wales. The town sits on the Cunningham Highway and the Dumaresq River, midway between Goondiwindi and Inglewood, and the name is an Aboriginal word for the large lagoon adjacent to the original station. Cattle and sheep are raised and cereal crops grown in the surrounding district.
