About Womalilla
Womalilla is a remote pastoral locality in the Maranoa Region of south-west Queensland, situated west of Mitchell and within the Western railway corridor. Womalilla Creek rises through the locality in the north-west and flows south-east as a tributary of the Maranoa River. The landscape is defined by wide open semi-arid grazing country used for cattle and sheep, and residents rely on Mitchell or Roma for services and amenities.
