About Ryeford
Ryeford is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, on the southern Darling Downs about 13 kilometres west of Clifton. It is flat to gently undulating farming and grazing country, with wheat and sorghum cropping and scattered remnant brigalow scrub. The Ryeford State School, which served the district for 50 years, opened in 1937 and closed in 1987.
