About Pikedale
Pikedale is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, named after a pastoral station established by John Pike in 1843. The Pikedale sheep stud became famous for its wool quality, with rams exported to the United States, and the locality was used for soldier settlements after World War I. The Stanthorpe-Texas Road passes through.
