Pelican is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, about 34 kilometres east-north-east of Chinchilla. It is bounded to the south by Charleys Creek and the Chinchilla Wondai Road, and is characterised by broad pastoral grazing country in the western Darling Downs.
