About Palmtree
Palmtree is a rural locality on the Toowoomba Range escarpment in Queensland's Darling Downs hinterland, approximately forty kilometres north-east of Toowoomba. The locality is home to Gus Beutel Lookout on the edge of Ravensbourne National Park, offering panoramic views across the Lockyer Valley towards Brisbane and the Scenic Rim. The surrounding landscape features eucalypt forests and steep escarpment country, with Crows Nest providing the closest shops and services to the north-west.
