Mount Howe is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Maranoa Region of south-central Queensland, roughly 539 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. The mountainous terrain is defined by the Great Dividing Range along its north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries and supports pastoral grazing on native pastures.
