About Hopeland (Qld)
Hopeland is a rural locality in the Western Downs Region, about 21 kilometres south of Chinchilla on the Darling Downs, where the Condamine River forms the northern boundary. The area sits on the Southern Brigalow Belt and features rich black soils among the top three per cent in Australia for broad-acre agriculture, supporting grain cropping and cattle grazing.
