About Gore
Gore is a rural town and locality in the Goondiwindi Region of the Darling Downs in Queensland, situated on the Cunningham Highway. It was named after St George Richard Gore, an early pastoralist who established the Yandilla sheep run in the 1840s, and the surrounding area is primarily used for cattle grazing and grain cropping.
