About Cunningham (Qld)
Cunningham is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, situated approximately 24 kilometres west-north-west of Warwick on the Darling Downs. Named after explorer and botanist Allan Cunningham who first saw the Darling Downs pastures in 1827, the locality is bounded by the Condamine River and served by the South Western railway line. The Cunningham Highway passes through the area.
