About Cadarga
Cadarga is a rural locality in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, located roughly 260 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. The traditional custodians of the area are the Barunggam people and European pastoral settlement began in the 1860s. There are two sections of Allies Creek State Forest in the south-west and east of the locality, while the surrounding land is predominantly used for grazing on native vegetation.
