About Bunya Mountains
Bunya Mountains is a rural locality in Queensland split between the Western Downs Region and the South Burnett Region, on the slopes of the Bunya Mountains. The rainforest-clad range shelters the world's largest stand of ancient bunya pines, and much of it is protected as Bunya Mountains National Park, declared in 1908 as Queensland's second national park.
