About Auburn (Qld)
Auburn is a rural locality in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, situated on the Auburn River approximately 65 km east of Wandoan. The land is dominated by large pastoral stations used for cattle grazing on native vegetation, with the Auburn River flowing through the locality and supporting the surrounding open woodland and brigalow landscape.
